Join us at the Azure Landing Zones workshop, an immersive learning experience where attendees build and validate a complete two-tier architecture, starting with the platform landing zone and extending to application workload landing zones across development, test, and production environments. Throughout the deployment process, Sentinel policy-as-code ensures every infrastructure change is evaluated and governed before it reaches Azure.
Successful cloud adoption isn't just about deploying applications—it's about maintaining governance, consistency, and security at scale. As organizations grow, unmanaged subscriptions, inconsistent networking and identity practices, and reactive compliance checks often lead to operational drift and increased risk.
Â
This workshop demonstrates a modern approach to enterprise cloud governance by combining HCP Terraform, Azure Verified Modules, and Sentinel policy enforcement into a repeatable, scalable operating model. Instead of identifying compliance issues after deployment, participants see how policy controls can proactively prevent non-compliant infrastructure from being deployed in the first place.
Who should attend?
 - Platform and Cloud Engineers building or standardizing Azure foundations, including management groups, networking, and shared services
 - Security, Governance, and Compliance Teams evaluating policy-as-code as a deployment-time control rather than relying on post-deployment audits
 - Cloud Architects implementing Azure Landing Zones and Cloud Adoption Framework best practices with HCP Terraform and GitHub-driven workflows.
By the end of the workshop, participants will:
 - Deploy a complete two-tier Azure Landing Zone architecture consisting of both platform and workload foundations.
 - Build and configure core enterprise services including management groups, hub-and-spoke networking, Entra ID governance, RBAC, logging, and shared services.
 - Experience policy enforcement at plan time, including demonstrations of Sentinel policies blocking non-compliant resources before deployment.
 - Implement workload landing zones across dev, test, and production environments with graduated governance controls.
 - Understand how to scale, manage, and efficiently decommission Azure environments using HCP Terraform and API-driven automation.
IIn this session, learn how Azure Landing Zones provide a proven framework for building secure, scalable, and governed cloud environments in Azure, aligned with Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework. They establish a standardized foundation for networking, identity, security, management, and governance, enabling organizations to deploy and operate workloads consistently at enterprise scale.
